It Was A Real Pleasure
Near to the center of Edinburgh, we never took the bus! Clean and warm rooms. Very friendly staff. It was a real pleasure to stay at Blossom!

Best Sleep I\'ve Had A While!
I received a warm welcome from the staff member on duty who was happy to help with anything, even giving me breakfast early so I could leave on time. My room was mall but comfortable with everything I needed, including a very comfy bed so I had a great night's sleep! The décor is a bit tired in places and could do with some tlc but considering the value for money and the service I received, I can forgive them that! I'd stay again.

Friendly And Welcoming
On arrival we made use of the off street parking which was much appreciated. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the information we were given about travelling into the city centre was very helpful. Our room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the bright conservatory, there was plenty on offer and the staff's attentiveness was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay, we'll visit again.

Very Comfortable Stay
Was greeted on arrival by a very pleasant couple, as we were the first ones there we were offered the upgraded room. Would recommend the room but does have a basic breakfast on offer.

Blossom House
A lovely place to stay, 15 min walk from the train station, clean comfortable room, friendly staff and very helpful. This was just right for our family weekend Easter break.

Comfortable Stay
We travelled with another couple. It was unfortunate that they got the room without ensuite but luckily this did not pose a problem for them. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout the stay. A couple of items needed fixing in the bathroom and this was quickly seen to and corrected. Rooms though on the small side, were clean and very comfortable. Bus stop conveniently right outside but we preferred to walk to and from town Centre most days. On the downside for us was the lack of storage space especially as we were there for a longer stay. Well recommended for short stays or if you don't mind living out of a suitcase.

Very Friendly
A friendly B and B that is very understanding of their guests' needs. The key to the front door was particularly useful as we were there for the Fringe Festival and would be coming and going at all hours. Would recommend.

A Very Nice B&b With Perfect Distans To The City, A Good Walk.
It was my second visit at Blossom House.

It is a clean and tidy B&B, with very friendly and serviceminded staff.

My only dissapointment this stay was the breakfast, the last time they served Full Scottish.

If I ever go to Edinburgh again I will return to Blossom House.

Great Stay!
The Blossom house staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our family felt very welcome there and the breakfast was delicious. Location was also perfect with only about a mile walk to the city centre. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Convenient Stopover
This B&B is very accessible for the City Centre and main sights. Especially convenient for the University. Our room was clean, and big enough for a short stay. Host is welcoming, and you can come and go at your own pleasure. Minton St is a main road so is noisy first thing in the morning.

A Very Welcoming Place
Within its category we give Blossom House 5 stars for its cheerful and welcoming hosts. The beds were great, breakfast good, internal noise minimal even one night when all rooms were taken (perhaps all the guests were considerate). Street noise also minimal. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location, Friendly And Comfortable
We stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights and it was perfect. The location was brilliant, the room was lovely, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. And being students we found it to be great value! Breakfast every morning as well. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and I would stay here again.

Simple But Not Bad At All
Staff were very helpfull and friendly. F.i. bringing extra chair when we asked. First B&B that was willing to help with carrying suitcases to the room. Breakfast at bit poor.

Minor issue: we were not used to have to pay on arrival before getting room key.

A majestic landmark which dominates the capital city's skyline just as it has dominated Scotland's long and colourful history. Edinburgh Castle is the best known and most visited of Historic Scotland's buildings. Perched on an extinct volcano and offering stunning views, this instantly recognisable fortress is a powerful national symbol, and part of Edinburgh's World Heritage Site. A rich mix of architectural styles reflects the castle's complex history and role as both stronghold and seat of Kings. The tiny St Margaret's Chapel, Edinburgh's oldest building, dates from the 1100s.

Edinburgh is the breathtakingly beautiful capital of Scotland, an exciting place to visit at any time of year. Edinburgh offers you superb sightseeing, historic buildings to explore, quiet galleries and museums to intrigue you, thrilling new attractions to discover, serious shopping, a vast choice of excellent Restaurants, Bistros, Wine Bars, Pubs and Cafes, and nightlife to suit all tastes. When the Picts built a fort on a volcanic crag in the 5th century, to protect Scotland from the invading Angles of Northumberland, Edinburgh's history began. The present Castle, was built on the site by Michael Canmore (1057-93); his wife St. Margaret, built the chapel which you can still visit today.
