Relaxing, Informal But Very Well Run B&b
A beautiful, old house run by a very professional young family who obviously care about their guests. Greeted with the offer of taking our luggage to our room (which we chose to decline as we're not that infirm...yet), we were then shown to the guest lounge and provided with filter coffee and flapjacks..both delicious.

Our room was light and airy with beautiful views over the local hills. A sumptuous, large bed with high quality linen (why don't more places realise the importance of this?), a plentiful tea tray with a good mix of beverages, a bottle of water and pot of biscuits made it feel like the owners wanted our stay to be more memorable than in your standard B&B. An oddly large chandelier hung from a rather too long flex from the ceiling but that's being picky. Our bathroom was clean and modern, a bit out of character with the room but it was small and functional. No bath but a nice rain shower in a good sized cubicle made for pleasant freshening up in the mornings. The loo seat needs fixing properly!

No curtains in the bedroom but relatively new wooden shutters that didn't quite close properly meant early morning light crept in quite easily. We slept with the sash windows open as the heating was too efficient even when turned down. Personally, we prefer open windows anyway.

Local pubs offer a great variety of food and tables can be booked by the owners. One pub is a few minutes walk away, others need a car/taxi.

If you want a typical hotel type stay, we're not sure this is for you. However, if you want a way above average B&B experience, we couldn't recommend Malvern View highly enough. Would we stay here again? Absolutely. We would've paid more than the £95 per night (including a wonderful breakfast). We don't think you can praise more highly than that!

Well done to a young family showing that good, old fashioned values of caring for your guests is still possible, without having to charge the earth. Thank you!!

Not Just Another B&b
We arrived well before the check in time but were met with a friendly face that welcomed us in immediately. We received an update on the 'best local places' and were not dis-appointed. The room was great, bed comfortable and breakfast was excellent. We would definitely return.

Very Comfortable
We received a very nice welcome, were offered a drink after our long drive, and provided with a Taxi number. The shower was very nice although the door did not close properly. Not much free toiletries choice. Bed very comfortable, and once the radiator warmed up nice and warm. Breakfast was very nice and all 5 of us ordered something different and was not a problem at all. Overall nice place to stay.

Very Pleasant Stay
Lovely huge, spacious room with a fantastic bathroom and very hospitable hosts.

Having said that, given the foggy weather, I think we should have got a discount for not having a "Malvern View"! We could barely see our car!!! (I jest of course)

One thing I would say is that the wall paper on the ceiling in the bathroom was starting to come off a bit. Personally I couldn't care less about this but I suspect a few folk would complain.

Even with that in mind, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Malvern View, clear view or otherwise!

Relaxing And Comfortable Stay
My partner and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Guest House and were made to feel very welcome in a relaxed environment. The room was beautifully decorated and clean and with access to the garden, it made the time spent here all the more enjoyable. We did not have breakfast and if I had one niggle, it would be to have the breakfast serving times longer as one hour doesn't seem enough. On the whole, lovely location, pleasant stay and warm atmosphere.

Walking Cotswold Way
The couple running this place are fabulous. We were welcomed with a pot of tea on the terrace. The meal was great. The room was very good and the bathroom had a bath which was good for us walkers, and a lovely rain shower. We highly recommend the Malvern View.

Long Overdue Return
Our last stay here was in 1982, Malvern was under different ownership then. I must say Leana and Barry have maintained the standard we expected. Nothing was too much trouble and they were welcoming and friendly. Leana's cooking is superb, as well. Barry was very helpful with very good local knowledge. Wr will happily reyurn in the near future.
