As far as the eye can see is the dramatic and boundless beauty of the West Coast of Scotland, the ever changing light, sharp and vivid purity of air makes it a favourite of artists and novelists alike. he Pierhouse originally started life as the residence of the Pier Master, who was responsible for overseeing the cargo and passenger traffic waiting to board the numerous steam vessels that travelled up and down the Loch. Trolleys would be loaded under the covered area and rolled to the end of the Pier for loading.
