Rosins Country Hotel & Restaurant   

The Rosins was built in the late 17th to early 18th century, originally named the Duke of Wellington. Here live music was played in the evenings by a group of fiddlers and the resin used to oil their bows was known as ‘rosin’, hence the Duke of Wellington became the Old Rosins. To this day an original violin which has been lovingly restored, can be seen as a feature in our ‘Rosins’ restaurant. The hotel offers 15 bedrooms, all refurbished to a high standard and include executive, double and twin, each boasting excellent views over the Lancashire Moors. All bedrooms provide first class amenities including en-suite bathrooms, broadband connection. trouser press, hairdryers, television, telephone and tea/coffee making facilities.
