The 15th-century Dungiven Castle in County Londonderry is set in 22 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens. Many of its rooms enjoy views of the Sperrin Mountains, and there is a chic restaurant.
All rooms have free Wi-Fi, a TV, DVD player and an iPod dock. Spacious bathrooms feature robes, slippers and luxury toiletries, whilst rooms also provide mineral water and free tea and coffee.
A former dance hall, the Castle has hosted music legends such Tom Jones. Today it has a restaurant serving local produce and traditional full Irish breakfasts every morning.
Guests can reach central Belfast in less than an hour’s drive. Londonderry/Derry’s lively centre is a 25-minute car journey from the Castle. The hotel grounds and surrounding countryside are perfect for walking.
