The Royal Hotel stands in the centre of town, close to the harbour and ferry terminal. With 91 double and single guestrooms, some overlooking the town square, the Royal Hotel offers comfortable, affordable accommodation. Built in 1895, the hotel offers traditional Scottish hospitality and dining with its Morvern Restaurant and whisky lounge bar.
The Manor House was built in 1780 as the principal residence of the Duke of Argyll's Oban estate. It was later used as a Dower House for his family. Of late Georgian architecture, great consideration has been given to preserve the elegance, charm and atmosphere of its past. The Manor House has eleven bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. All have been tastefully decorated in the period style but include every modern amenity. The Manor House is particularly known for it's beautifully restored Dining Room which is open both to residents and non-residents each evening. Informal lunches and drinks are served in the Bar and lovely Drawing Room.

We have been awarded the fhg Diploma for 'Holiday Accomodation of the Highest Standard'. The Donn famiy welcomes you to their home and small family hotel. The rooms are cosy and individually decorated in a traditional style in keeping with the 100 year old building. Rooms to the front have magnificant views over Oban bay. Golf, fishing, horse-riding, sailing and swimming are all available within a short distance. Please note that as the hotel has a pets welcome policy it may not be suitable for people with pet alergies. There is a central feature staircase in the hotel (and no lift), however the lowest bedrooms are on the second floor. As a small family run hotel we hope that your stay with us will feel more like a home from home rather than just a hotel as it has been our home for 28 years.

The warmest of welcomes awaits you at Roseneath, home of Bill and Sarah Clarke. Constructed in 1881, when Oban was expanding as a Victorian tourist resort, Roseneath was built as a family home for a Mr and Mrs Porter and their nine children. Today the house stands as a testament to the fine craftsmanship of those days, from its solid granite exterior to the beautiful internal plasterwork of the ornate ceilings and splendid original Oregon pine staircase.
Magnificently positioned on Craignure Bay on the Sound of Mull, this hotel offers panoramic views from its bedrooms. Stay in comfortable accommodation, whilst looking out across the bay towards Durat Castle, the Island of Lismore, the Morven Hills and, in the distance, Ben Cruachan.
The Lancaster is on the Seafront on the North side of the bay looking down Kerrera sound. We are a small family owned, private hotel. We offer guests an indoor heated Swimming Pool, Sauna, Spa and Steam Room. We are fully licensed with two bars. The Residents lounge looks out down Kerrera Sound with panoramic views.There are two private car parks to the front and rear of the hotel.
The Lancaster has been run by the Ramage family since 1963. The hotel accommodates up to fifty people. Our aim is to make your holiday a success, whether you come for leisure, pleasure or business, we hope you enjoy yourself.
