The Bridge House Hotel is conveniently located close to the a1 and is within reach of excellent rail and air links, offering the ideal opportunity to visit nearby market towns, the Yorkshire Dales National Park or to travel further afield to the Yorkshire coast or the vibrant cities of York and Newcastle. Catterick Racecourse is situated opposite the Hotel, making us the destination of choice for guests wanting to relax after a day at the races. Please note that, as the Bridge is Grade 1 listed, we have no lift or ground floor guest bedrooms.

Jane and David welcome you to their lovely Georgian farmhouse and converted stable courtyard. A delightful 600 acre mixed farm in the heart of Herriot Country, set high in the hills, three miles from Richmond and with wonderful views of the dales. It is a busy working farm run by David, his father Gordon and brother Andrew. We grow corn, potatoes and run a heard of hill cows and sheep. Guests are welcome to wander round the farm and enjoy the freedom and tranquility of the countryside. The stone built farmhouse, featured on TV's "Wish You Were Here" holiday program, is a most attractive Georgian house facing south with unusual bay windows overlooking lawns that slope gently to a stream. The King's Head Hotel overlooks Richmond's cobbled market square, the largest in the country, and the Norman castle. The King's Head Hotel in Richmond provides quality accommodation and boasts an excellent restaurant. The hotel makes an ideal base to discover the beauty of The Dales and the charm of the market town of Richmond, which has a Norman castle, abbey, three museums and the Georgian Theatre Royal, which is the oldest theatre in England where performances are still held in the original setting. Upstairs in the warm ambiance of the award winning restaurant, dinner is available each evening, complimented by a choice of wines from around the globe. Morning coffees and afternoon teas are enjoyed in the Clock Lounge, where there is an interesting collection of working clocks and, in the cooler months, a welcoming log fire. Wedding receptions are held in the the hotel's Georgian ballroom, which provides the perfect setting. This elegant room with its tall sash windows features a large dance floor, stage and adjacent cocktail bar and spacious banqueting seating for one hundred and thirty guests. Weddings with a literary theme can be held in the unique Georgian Theatre Royal, which is just around the corner from the hotel. Marry on stage with your guests as your audience then head back to the hotel for your reception. The Panelled Room is a private room, available for special occasions such as business meetings, luncheons, dinners and intimate parties. For functions and conferences, the ballroom seats 150 theatre style and there are smaller meeting rooms available.

Situated just outside Reeth village centre on the Arkengarthdale Road, Cambridge House arguably has one of the most enviable positions in the Dales. The Yorkshire Dales is a paradise for walkers, the Coast to Coast is one of the many walks close by and Cyclists who enjoy going off road many routes to follow including the Dales Cycle Way Motor Cycles and Cars are spoilt for choice with lovely views of the Dales, whatever your choice there is plenty to do and see.
Rosedale Bed and Breakfast at Pottergate House is owned by Gary & Lindsay Stacey and opened in July 2005. The listed 3 storey Georgian House is situated within a 2 minute walk to the centre of Richmond town in the heart of North Yorkshire. The accomodation is a perfect place to stay,located close to the towns bars and restaurants and within minutes of Richmond Castle, the cobbled Market Place and all of Richmonds many attractions including the Georgian Theatre and museums.
